The key points for redesigning KCRW are mixed culture, transformation, and reflection. The diagonal four lines represent keywords for reflection and mixed culture. The logo form symbolizes reflection, depicting the spreading nature of music and embodying the intersection of diversity, portraying transformation. Blurred and noisy effects on the type represent the fusion of diverse cultures in Los Angeles, creating something new through transformation and mixed culture. Line elements, inspired by analog radio players, visually explain KCRW's identity as a radio station. The color choices draw inspiration from LA's sunset, with red-orange and rich yellow evoking the vibrant sunset vibes. Photo treatments further emphasize reflection and the music spreading across Los Angeles.
