The Way It Is is a hypothetical exhibition for a German photographer, Andreas Gursky. He is known for his large-format architecture and landscape color photographs, often using a high point of view. The main key element for this exhibition identity is inspired by his working process, scanning. The reason why it goes based on scanning is that his works are made with many photographs that he took and stacked to see accurate abstraction. Also, the subject matter is all about documentation. Therefore, the title type is placed as a frame, representing the documentation.
